1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Salesforce Readiness Scanner ("the Service") provided by Inforge ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including users who connect Salesforce organizations for analysis.

2. Description of Service

The Salesforce Readiness Scanner is a read-only analysis tool that connects to your Salesforce organization via OAuth 2.0 to evaluate various aspects of your org's configuration, data quality, security settings, process automation, integrations, and usage metrics.

The Service provides:

  • Health scores and metrics across multiple domains
  • Identification of potential issues and recommendations
  • Historical tracking of scan results
  • Downloadable reports in PDF format

3. User Responsibilities

Authorization

By connecting your Salesforce organization to the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the authority to grant the Service access to the Salesforce organization
  • You have obtained all necessary approvals from your organization to use the Service
  • Your use of the Service complies with your organization's policies and applicable laws

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

4. API Limits and Platform Considerations

Important Notice

The Service makes API calls to your Salesforce organization. These calls count against your organization's daily API limits as defined by Salesforce.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Running scans will consume API calls from your Salesforce organization's daily allocation
  • Large organizations with extensive data may require more API calls for analysis
  • Concurrent scans or multiple scans in quick succession may accelerate API consumption
  • We are not responsible for any service disruption in your Salesforce org due to API limit exhaustion

We recommend running scans during off-peak hours and monitoring your API usage through Salesforce's built-in limits monitoring to avoid any impact on your operations.

5. Data Usage

By using the Service, you grant us permission to access and analyze the data described in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that:

  • The Service operates in read-only mode and will not modify your Salesforce data
  • Certain data is accessed for analysis purposes as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Analysis results and scores are stored to provide historical tracking and reports
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services

Our commitment: We will not use your customer data for commercial purposes, sell it to third parties, or share your Salesforce data with external parties.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of Inforge. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain all rights to your Salesforce data. The analysis results and reports generated by the Service are provided for your use but may incorporate our proprietary methodologies and scoring systems.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • API limit exhaustion in your Salesforce organization
  • Any actions taken based on analysis results or recommendations
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Salesforce organization at any time. Upon disconnection:

  • Your OAuth tokens will be revoked
  • The Service will no longer have access to your Salesforce organization
  • You may request deletion of your scan history

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
